The Amendment

First Amendment to the United States Constitution

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”

Personally, I believe that this amendment was founded by our ancestors to improve human conditions. However, some of us tend to abuse these rights. I believe in the statement above because it gives a voice to “We, the People” and in this world we should be living examples of improved human conditions.  I do not condone the use of laws to hurt others on grounds for discrimination. I don’t believe that the First Amendment was created to separate us but to give us an opportunity to appreciate our rights as human beings and practice the love God wants us to exhibit in this world.

God is still waiting for us to get it together. Even though you are His child, are you ready to become His model?
